Characterization
An intense ruby-red wine with dried red and blackberries such as blackcurrant and ripe plum. The spicy nature of this wine stems from vanilla, black and pink pepper with hints of Mocha. A full-bodied wine with excellent balance, soft tannins, and long aftertaste.
Made from 40% Nacional, 20% Baga, 20% Syrah, 20% Alicante Bouchet grapes.
The bottle label shows 15.century Bengal gulf, the largest strategic importance of the gulf in the world the so-called Asian gate, which separates the South and South-east Asia. One of the coats of arms of the Portuguese territory, which has been in use since 1248, is also visible. However, the two caravans aim to highlight and recognise the historical relationship between the explorer Vasco da Gama and the other seamen and Silk & Spice wine. The wine is named 16. “Silk, Spice & intense Route ” of the century between Europe and Asia, where spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper were traded.
