Characterization
Marlborough, at the top of the southern island of New Zealand, is one of the world’s main wine-growing regions with a cool climate. The soil there is rocky and water well conductive, days usually warm and nights cool, which allow the grapes to vivid acidity and freshness.
The wine has hints of Mandarin, jasmine, honey, green tea, and lemon. The wine tastes ripe, oily and full-bodied, finishing all its goodness with a mineral aftertaste and a balance of sweetness-acidity.
Low alcohol content makes the wine of youth as a consumer note, but the previously mentioned acidity and minerals give in turn the potential of 5-7 years in the bottle to develop.
Consumption recommendation
Suitable for enjoyment with various seafood dishes, as well as an ideal companion to sushi side by side.
