Characterisation

Chateau Single Estate cognac (mõisakonjak) – this unique cognac made of grapes from only the Chateau Fontpinot konjakimõisa near the location of the limited maavalduselt directly from the Grande Champagne de Cognac the heart. A dignified drink will be finished at Chateau Fontpino’s cognac Manor.

Cognac has been kept in dry ground in the cellars, resulting in a rich and abundant drink. Dark in colour with warm autumn tones. Floral (wild) aroma.
The taste includes dried fruit(apricot, orange peel), vanilla, Old Port (wine) and rancio (nuts, dried flowers, light tanned skin). Very long aftertaste.

Details

Cognac Frapin is a recognized French cognac family whose roots extend into the XIII century. The cognac houses are all located in the Grand Champagne area around the town of Segonzac, so all Frapin Cognacs are classified as Grand Champagne Premier Cru. Frapin cognacs aged in the oak barrels up to 2 times longer than the same-grade (VS, VSOP, XO, etc.) drinks on average. The result is rounder, softer and vanilla style, deeper tone and longer aftertaste.
