The golden oriole is one of the rarest birds in the Douro region. An attractive, brightly colored migratory bird, its uniqueness and rarity make this lovely wine the perfect inspiration. Deep ruby color, it has intense aroma notes of strawberry, raspberry, plum and blueberry, along with cedar and a hint of chocolate with gentle oak maturation. Full-bodied, well-balanced acidity, fine tannins, lots of vibrant red fruit flavors and hints of cocoa. The finish is elegant and harmonious.
