Characterisation

Frapin Cognacs are produced in the heart of Cognac County, the most valued area of vineyards in the world. This exclusive cognac is mixed with mixtures of eux de vie made from grapes harvested in one vineyard!
Flavours of a fruity, floral aroma bouquet and discernible vanilla alludes to the basic
maturing in New Limousin wood oak barrels. Later storage in old
casks give a softness and adds dried fruit nuances (apricot, orange peel).
Frapin V.S.O.P the average age is 8-12 years.

Details

Cognac Frapin is a recognized French cognac family whose roots extend into the XIII century. The cognac houses are all located in the Grand Champagne area around the town of Segonzac, so all Frapin Cognacs are classified as Grand Champagne Premier Cru. Frapin cognacs aged in the oak barrels up to 2 times longer than the same-grade (VS, VSOP, XO, etc.) drinks on average. The result is rounder, softer and vanilla style, deeper tone and longer aftertaste.
