Characterization

The original recipe of La Copa Vermut dates back to the beginning of 1900. The brand La Copa itself, however, since 1886, or Gonzales Byass, one of the products with a long history. Baasveini here is the normal unsophisticated wine instead of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenes sherry, in which the Solera method is matured in barrels longer than 8 years. And that’s where the charm lies. The added spices are central to the blood orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, and nutmeg. The result is a Sulis bitter-sweet spice veiled elixir.

Consumption recommendation

It’s vermouth with a capital letter and a heart. Enjoy the classically aperitif clean, chilled, or crushed with ice and tonic. Tasteful for many cocktails. Try one-split Tio Pepe with Fino sherry.
