Characterisation
The grapes were hand-picked from Vinya Le Havre’s vineyard, which was planted in 1968.
The wine has matured for 18 months in American and French oak barrels, with a further two years in the wine cellar after the pudding.
The aroma and taste of ripe red berries, jam and compote. Ageing in Oak container gives the wine vanilla and coconut aroma. Strong tannins and balanced acid and long and elegant aftertaste.
Consumption recommendation
Ideally suited for wild animals such as venison.

Ceferino Carrión alias Jean Leon was born in the 1930s in Spain. In 1947 he went to America seeking a better life, working there in different clubs and restaurants. In Hollywood the acquaintance of Mr Leon several the then of stars like Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, whose with the latter also founded Hollywood’s most famous restaurant, La Scala.
Founded three more restaurants, decided Jean Leon lay the foundation for your long-term dream to introduce yourself to prepare quality wines that offer these other great wines alongside their restaurants.
In the early 1960s, Jean Leon bought a plot of land in Penedès, Spain.
Contrary to the Penedès’e traditional the wine-growers, he decided to their fields to cultivate the local varieties of grapes instead of French finest veinimõisad of procured viinamarjataimi: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
