Characterisation
The grapes originate in the la Consulta area at a height of 1100 m in the south of Uco Valley. A deep red colour with a violet shade and a complex bouquet are full of ripe berries with elegant violets and balsamico notes. Cask ripening is the wine achieved a fine composition, where the red and black berries abundant the taste is a perfect balance of vanilla, coffee and light carnation nuances with. The mild first impression is followed by a powerful and long lasting taste. The wine has been kept in the French oak vessel min. 12 months, then 3 months in a concrete container and 6 months in a bottle. Wine with silky soft tannins has undergone 100% malolactic fermentation.

More than 125. the annual History of La Celia is Uco Valley’s oldest wine house, founded in 1890. in the year when Eugenio Bustos bought a wine house for the construction of a plot of land in Mendozas. It was the first wine house in the region to plant a Malbec brought from France, which is now Argentina’s most important vine variety. The winery bears the name of Eugenio’s daughter Celia, who made the business created by her father profitable.
