Characterisation

Barolo’s younger sibling, Barbaresco carries a large and famous sõsarveini complexity and elegance, which often need to be the end of the maturation additional home cellar ageing. This Barbaresco has matured for at least two years, half in large oak barrels.

Colour: ruby red
Fragrance: rich, pleasant, blueberry and cherry notes, roasted coffee beans.
Flavour: a high-quality wine with a vivid acid, intense and pleasantly balanced, characterised by rich berry and soft, strong tannins. The aftertaste is long and oaky vanilla, with wood tannins and lightly spicy.

Consumption recommendation

Ripe cheeses, beef beans, in particular, tenderloin; also duck and smoked beans, abundant pasta.
