Characterization
The Pommard is the uncrowned king of red wines in the Burgundy Cote de Beaune region, by nature powerful, powerful, yet supple and dignified. Hints and tastes in the prevailing dark berries, red over, the tannins are masculinity more (the higher the iron content in the soil) and gets more time until they are in the bottle matures calm down and the wine blend. In this case, it is helpful here for 12 to 14 months of aging in French oak barrels, of which 30 to 40% are new. The result of large wine with long storage potential, and who is patient, can be rewarded with dignity.
Consumption recommendation
Serve 17-18C at a large burgundy type wine glass. If the wine age is less than 5.year, it helps decantation. Food wall, anyway. Strong-tasting meat dishes in dark tasteful sauce, casseroles of game meat and ripe strong-tasting cheeses for the best combination.
