El Coto 875m Finca Carbonera Chardonnay 75cl
Finca Carbonera Chardonnay plantation is located in the Rioja D. O. Ca at the maximum height (875 m). Wine fermentation shall take place at 16° C to maintain the maximum aromatic character of the grapes. In the course of wine production, new, unburnt oak barrels are used, where the wine is kept for 2,5 months. A variety of fruity and floral characteristics with respect gives casks maturation of noticeable softness and aromatic complexity that combines the tropical fruit (like pineapple) nuances of vanilla delicate aroma. The use of carefully selected French oak casings respects this delicate and subtle Chardonnay to the maximum.
Excellent match for seafood, foie gras, greasy fish, fish stew and rice soup.
The El Coto de Rioja wine cellar represents a more modern line of classical Rioja wine style. The winery is founded in 1970, and today was El Coto viinamarjapõllud Rioja in all countryes – D. O. Ca. Rioja Alavesa, Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja. Although the dominant vine variety is Rioja’s Tempranillo, the berries of Graciano, Garnacha, and Mazuelo (Carinena) are also added to the wine. The soil of Rioja is quite diverse, with iron and limestone clay varying between different sedimentary rocks and layers resulting from erosion. The climate is predominantly Continental with low rainfall and rich sunshine.
