Product: the wine is a mixture of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, with 60% of the first berry. Modern-style wine ripens in Slavonian oak, achieving good filling and long aftertaste when matured.
The wine gardens of Poggio al Tufo are located on hills with volcanic soil in Maremma Tuscany. The soil is rich in minerals and fossils of seafloor skeletons.
